Wireless Communications Corp.

The Challenge:

One of the largest global telecommunications/wireless companies was evaluating their tech organization in efforts to optimize their business processes.

The client identified that they were utilizing the majority of their tech resources in supporting the business with day-to-day administrative operations rather than to deliver impactful business solutions.

To kickstart their journey, a new EVP in Technology was brought on board to build a brand new data warehouse that was going to provide business intelligence reporting that would drive value within the business. The mindset was to use the data collected as a differentiator for the business to utilize as a key decision maker. With the scope of the project, there was an eminent need to generate a team for the reporting and BI build of these systems.

Our Solution:

The client partnered with Curate to provide the consultative direction and support needed to proceed with the overall transition. We curated and onboarded 22 contractors made up of Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA’s, Developers and more were filled by Curate. The team was able to deliver the project on time, with minimal guidance while staying within the allocated budget.

The Results:

Project delivery provided end-to-end reporting solutions that resulted in greater operating efficiency and ultimately a reduction in costs for resources

With greater capability to analyze performance and competitor data, client gained a competitive advantage in the market.

The details of the business intelligence model included workflow reporting that streamlined all internal project tasks leaving more bandwidth for customer relations.

Testimonial from the client
"One thing I really like about Curate is that my people (contractors) say that they are treated very well too. I’ve had a number of Contractors ask me to transfer from their current vendor to Curate based on the fact that they seem to be a better organization to work for. Every recruiter will give you a lunch and talk about what’s going on. But Curate takes it back, feeds it in, and then incorporates it into their process."

"A lot of agencies just throw candidates at you without really knowing what you’re looking for. Curate took the time to really listen to what we were looking for and only send us the people that matched the culture, the people, that kind of stuff. They really listened to our feedback too after we spoke with a candidate. They were relationship-focused, not just the quick ‘I need to make a buck’ relationship."
